Breaking: Earthcore Founder Spiro Boursine Has Died In Handcuffs At A Melbourne Bar

Spiro Boursine, the founder of Earthcore and a polarising personality in the doofing scene, passed away in police custody this weekend.

At approximately 2:15 am on Saturday morning, police were called to the Antique Bar in Elsternwick, Melbourne, after receiving reports of a man assaulting other patrons at the premises.

Police have confirmed the man was being held down by several patrons when they arrived, and he lost consciousness soon after they handcuffed him. Despite Ambulance Victoria and the police attempting to revive him, the man died at the scene.

While friends are openly posting tributes to Spiro on Facebook, police are yet to confirm the deceased man’s identity. They have confirmed, however, that the person in question was 45 years old and from Cheltenham.

The cause of death is unknown and an autopsy will be conducted.

RIP Spiro. Without you, we wouldn’t have the scene we know and love today.
